The Kowa Group is a multinational corporation headquartered in Japan, working with over 100 group companies to expand its operations globally. Kowa handles the import and export of monomers, materials for cosmetics and toiletries, all types of chemicals (including hazardous materials), as well as medicinal ingredients and intermediates. We have an extensive global network in this industry and manage sales on behalf of foreign manufacturers for products handled under representation agreements.
KOWA American Corporation is currently part of a vast global distribution network that connects the supply and demand of specialty chemicals worldwide. Established relationships with Japanese manufacturers form the foundation and core of KOWA American’s value proposition.
For over 30 years, our customers in the Americas have benefited from a balanced product portfolio that we develop thanks to our strong sourcing capabilities in emerging Asian economies, such as China, the Philippines, and India. In addition to selling products, we also strive to help our customers find the ideal solution.
Our markets
We have seven partner warehouses in the United States. KOWA American Corporation offers specialty acrylates, methacrylates, acrylamides, anhydride monomers, HDI isocyanates, PMMA microparticles, and other specialty chemicals.
KOWA American Corporation’s primary objective is to market these diverse chemical compounds in North and South America.
KOWA also produces activated carbon derived from coconut shells at its plant in Davao City, Mindanao Island, Philippines. After 30 years of operation, PJAC is currently the world’s third-largest producer of coconut shell carbon. This carbon has multiple applications, including gold mining, air filtration, and water treatment.
We welcome inquiries for custom sourcing of new or higher-purity specialty chemicals, as well as custom grades of activated carbon to meet the specific needs of our potential customers.
